Come up with a better word that allows us to vote on what makes a valid marriage…and disposes of all issues of sexual morality (other than consent). Gender! With the word Gender, marriage is now freed up from the constricting sex listed on the birth certificate. If we can vote on what gender means, and turn it into subjectivism, then there is no need to battle over the meaning of marriage anymore.
