quote icon Porcupines During the glacial age, many animals died because of the cold. The porcupines, understanding the situation, resolved to join in a group and, in this way, cover and protect each other. But the quills of each porcupine wounded their closest companions, those that were actually giving them the most warmth. For this reason, the group separated. But then they realized that they needed to make a choice: disappear from the face of the earth or accept the quills of their neighbor. With wisdom, they decided to return and stay together, learning to live with the small wounds that a very close relationship can cause, but realizing that the most important thing is that warmth received from others. Moral: sacrifice your own interests when appropriate, in order to value and validate another.
