Resurrection—The testimonies of apostles and the promises of scriptures reveal that the grave is not the end of existence, for all people will receive their bodies again in a resurrected state. Paul, a special witness of the resurrected Jesus, so promised: “Now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept … For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” (1 Cor. 15:20, 22.) God has promised, as a basic element of his eternal plan, a resurrection for every one of his children who has lived on this earth. (See Alma 11:41; D&C 29:26).Share
