Engineers often have no clue how hard it is to get people to use their stuff, especially after someone else has already done it. I remember everyone who tried cloning eBay and failing. They forgot that you don't only have to clone the algorithms that complete sales, but they had to get all the sellers AND all the buyers to move over, which they almost never would do.Share
