“God expects you to have enough faith and determination and enough trust in Him to keep moving, keep living, keep rejoicing. In fact, He expects you not simply to face the future (that sounds pretty grim and stoic); He expects you to embrace and shape the future--to love it and rejoice in it and delight in your opportunities. God is anxiously waiting for the chance to answer your prayers and fulfill your dreams, just as He always has. But He can’t if you don’t pray, and He can’t if you don’t dream. In short, He can’t if you don’t believe.”
You know what breaks me? When someone is visibly excited about a feeling or an idea or a hope or a risk taken, and they tell you about it but preface it with: "Sorry, this is dumb but-". Don't do that. I don't know who came here before me, who conditioned you to think you had to apologize or feel obtuse. But not here. Dream so big it's silly. Laugh so hard it's obnoxious. Love so much it's impossible. And don't you ever feel unintelligent. And don't you ever apologize. And don't you ever shrink so you can squeeze yourself into small places and small minds. Grow. It's a big world. There's room. You fit. I promise.
