Our continuing role is to receive continuing revelation... The Lord’s loving influence through the Holy Ghost helps us know His priority for our progression. Heeding personal revelation leads to personal progression.
Inevitably, when you take on too much, at least some of those things will fail. When that repeatedly happens you create an expectation and an acceptance of failure. Worse, you create a culture of failure because people learn that some things might get done, some might not, and that’s okay. It’s far better to do less. Focus on the critical few, concentrate your efforts, and then expect results.
You don’t find time for important things, you make it. Everything you do is an opportunity cost. Learn to say “No”.
We need to arrange and manage our time for scripture study so that, as Goethe put it, “Things which matter most are not at the mercy of things which matter least.”
