So many worldly things are noticed because awards are given, accolades are shown, speeches are visible, books are buyable, performances are watched, money is made, and raises are given. Most worldly reinforcement is visible, seemingly valued, verifiable, and often immediate. Mothering, by contrast, is often quiet, individua, gentle, frequently anonymous, selfless, and with no accolades. It is in the later years, and especially in the eternities, when we will come to understand the full worth of mothers. The leaders of the Church, and especially the Lord, already know.
