President Boyd K. Packer taught, "True doctrine, understood, changes attitudes and behavior." Note in this statement that it is not only true doctrine existing, or true doctrine known, but true doctrine understood that changes attitudes and behavior. Understanding true doctrine comes from a combination of hard work and effort with the Spirit testifying of these truths.
