It was the will of the Father that His spirit children should obtain bodies of flesh and bones in a fallen spiritual state and under conditions of opposition in which they might be proved in their new endowments of life. Such a probationary state would allow them to determine for themselves how they would use their new physical endowments, and it would permit them to demonstrate their ability to walk by faith in obedience to the will of God.
